This is one we got in our Heavy Rooster Asst. It was a light orange color as a chick. We had 2 others but they died early on. It has never looked like what I assume are the RIR He is much lighter.
I need to know because if he either a RIR or a NHR he will be safe from the table as I need another rooster of one of these breeds. He is the nicest looking of all the "red/orange" roosters

RSL roosters are white with very little red. I'm not positive what yours is, Bossy, but he sure looks like he might be a New Hampshire Red.

Not to be rude but... HOW!! How can that be a red sex link rooster? We have 4 red sex link roosters. They are white with various bits of red, brown.
Does anyone else have an opinion?
Here is another pic of him with the other roosters. A RIR and a Black Sexlink Rooster. You can see the Red sexlink Rooster to the left. THe white and red one.

If this were a pullet I'd say red-sex link but the red-sex link roosters are predominately white or a creamy color with red on their wings, not red all over.
But a RIR or NHR he should get alot of black in his tail, going by body color if he is either of the two I'd say NHR.

He's a huge beast now with the same color markings

PS He was suppose to have been a pullet!
