I've come to find that the cutest chickens ever have got to be the most difficult ones of course. I have a Silkie "hen" who acted the part when her two Roo brothers were around. They were picking on "her" and I even had to stop the less dominant Roo twice from mounting "her". After the brothers found new homes, Lavendar started crowing! I know hens can crow if there aren't any roosters around, but I'm wondering if "she" is another "he"?
