Is this a roo trait?

Of my three 4-week old RIR, one has this long tail. The other two have a short tail. The longer tailed chick seems to sort of bully more often and also is just a bit bigger than the rest. Also, when the 4 others (I have two younger chicks in there also) are roosted, this one stays off to the side and looks up at the top of the brooder. What do you all think? Possible Roo?

I don't think tail has much to do with it, but adult roosters do tend to roost off to the side and are more wary than hens. I am just not sure that this behavior is present in such a young chick. Maybe, maybe not. You will know for sure in a few weeks, though.

Too young to guess at this point. Most females will develop tail feathers before male chicks though. That’s a female vs male trait I’ve seen - doesn’t apply to every bird out there. Post pics back in 4 weeks to have a better assessment on your RIR.
