I replied to her: I just wanted to say that both are beautiful but I think the one that has a beard is roo. Is that true? If so we would want to get the non bearded hen because we already have a roo. Also if the bearded one is a hen how old is she?

If It was a male, The crest would be Full of long, pointed feathers, But it is not. She would have visible saddle, and hackle fethers, But she does not. It is very easy to sex laced varieties, if you know what your looking for.
