Is this a roo?

    I am going to buy a Buff Laced Polish from a lady that has 2. I like bearded more than non bearded but the bearded looks like a roo. Is he/she a roo? I think so. Here are some pics of them. She did not say the sex.

    both look like hens to me but I have never really been around to many polish chickens.

    Neither one has saddle feathers, and all feathers look rounded. Any better pics of the tails/necks or are those the pics the seller sent you? I think they look like hens. The bearded one appears older then the non-bearded, but I honestly don't see any roo feathers. Also, a roo's hairdo wouldn't be so much of a poof - Here's a pic of my boy (bantam, but no difference other than size) - he's 8 months now.

    Also wanted to say that the lacing tends to "get lost" on the roosters with their long saddle feathers - both of those have nice lacing head to tail.
