Is this a roo?

can you get any other up to date pics that would show the whole body? it would help with the age guess. from what i've seen so far 5-6 months old.

I have not witnessed this bird crow yet. She is very mean to my rooster sometimes, and today I saw her try to er... "jump" on top of one of my hens, which my rooster quickly put an end to. I will try to get a better picture soon. No one wants to come out of the coop for a photo shoot with all of the snow!

It's hard to tell from the photo, but if it is 8 months old and a roo it should be developing spurs by now.

He/she must be seven months now. I do see nubs on his/her legs where spurs would be developing. I'll post some better pictures when I'm able (does anyone know how long before a new member can post pictures?)

I think roo - the neck feathers look very roo-ish, and the tail feathers look like they're starting to curl. A good, close-up side shot would help a lot!

Looks like a brother to the blue one I just posted and asked about lol. same age. then the pic on your BYC page...I think Rooster! but yours filled out and looks better than mine!!
