I dont have much experience with ee and im actually new to chicken keeping but have read all I can... I would think the comb would be larger if it were a he... I would definately hold out a lil longer...are you allowed roos in your area?

No we aren't and unfortunatley she (he) is the kids favorite. I have already found a petting zoo who will take it if it is a roo because he is super friendly but I don't want to give it away if he may end up being a hen after all

Well they say its better to love and to have lost than to never have loved at all so I would enjoy him/or her til you hear that early morning crow for diffinitive confirmation... I have a couple of hens who fluff up and chest bumb like they were bout to start a cock fight but they produce beautiful brown eggs so definately enjoy while you may!
