Hello all. I bought 4 pullets, gentleman said they were ameracauna but I figured may be easter eggers. Anyways, big red began crowing the past two mornings and randomly throughout the day. Just wanted to be clear on if it's really a he! Also if you can tell me what breeds I have that would be awesome. Thanks

They all look to be Easter Eggers. Big Red is the only cockerel.

Don't think so. Also if there is no cock a hen may begin crowing and stop laying.

Look at the feathers on the red ones neck. See how long and skinny and with a pointy end they are compared to your other girls? That is the male plumage. You probably have them coming in on the back as well just before the tail. That as well as the crowing is how you pick you have a rooster.

I thought so but wanted to be sure since these are my first chickens. Thanks to every one who responded!
