I'm new to keeping chickens and am trying to figure out if this Barred rock is a rooster.

It's a Dominique rooster, not a barred rock.

Thank you! I had a feeling he had the saddle feathers of a male, but every time I tried to see what a cockerel Barred rock looked like online, it looked very different to that. Now I know the right breed too.

I'm hoping is not a rooster. I can't have chicken in my town and I'm sorry but I have to have at kept two they are so adorable. I might be in the wrong forum. Trying to learn this website. I feel like I'm all over the place. Sorry if I jumped in your conversation.
