Jersey giant, 7 weeks old.
 
Thats a hen I believe, all my roosters have longer combs then that, and the things hanging on the beaks are usually much bigger as well. That is unless yours is a late bloomer :lau a rooster will also have a significantly larger tail then a hen. Can you get a pic of that??

Basically, if yours is an easter egger like mine, itll start to look like this

A typical hen's comb (without the pea comb) would look like this as a 6 month old to adult.

The important consideration here is the bird is 7 weeks old. At that age, that much red comb and wattle indicates that it is indeed a male. A pullet will not be that developed until at least 10 weeks, more likely 14. Especially on a large, slow maturing breed like Jersey Giants, the saddle and tail feathers will take longer to come in and be evident.
