Cool! So is it the coloring or the breed that has pullets with pointed neck feathers? I always thought that was a male only trait. Learn something new everyday!

Those look like general pullet neck feathers to me.
The feather pattern does look girly.

That bird doesn't have the male hackle feathers but the pattern of the female duckwing can make it look a bit like they do.
Check out light brown leghorn pics and you'll see the difference of the female vs male pattern.
Theres zero doubt thats a pullet.
