I don’t think it is, but she’s extremely loud in the morning i got 3Easter egger bantams, they are about 6months old now (didn’t start laying yet) i don’t want to rehome her but she goes on a full rant every morning, the other 2 Easter eggers are fine the mottled Cochin bantams don’t make a peep.

Thank you yea she’s SO loud like a loud crow rapid blast 5-6 times i live in the city on a corner of a busy block no nieghbors on that side except across the street but just worried when windows start to open this will be bad

Im not sure what to do i love them as my pets and don’t want to get rid of them the entire day they don’t make a peep but in the morning first hour she goes ballistic

Normal chicken sounds. Usually, before they lay, they'll sing the egg song, the louder the better (they think)!
Chickens are not quiet. Mine are extremely noisy til around 11 a.m. then they quiet down for awhile.
Oh god yea it’s just one who’s horrible, the local zoo has a massive bantam flock im going to give it another week, and If not any better I’ll bring her there

So this was the reason why she was being loud i guess, her first egg and my first egg with my first flock lol
