Some roosters can be fine. Here is a photo of mine with his hens. He will put himself between 2 hens that are squabbling.

Lots of wind in AZ! I thought that the adult barred rooster would tempt the OP to try to keep theirs! Barred Holland and Barred Rocks look a lot alike.

Previous, anytime is enter the coop it would rush at me and would jump up at my face, I Tried to make it work and it just didn’t. I was scared!
