He just started looking like this less than a week ago. Before that we thought she/he was a hen.

This is another one we are unsure of. Someone said she had a "gonadal change" after illness but is not a true rooster.

Appearance-wise, it looks like a cockerel. Hard to really say if it is or isn't since hormones that cause a male appearance would also cause them to act male.
