I bought some ISA Browns from Rural King in March, they were advertised as all female pullets. This is my first go at chickens and fear I may have been misinformed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

ISA Browns are a sex-link chicken, so if a roo he should be predominantly white with orange/yellow wings and nape. What I'm seeing looks more like a Buff Orpington or Buff Minorca, NOT an ISA Brown color at all which is...wait for it....brown for the pullets. How old? What color is the ear?
Are you getting eggs yet?

Welcome to BYC! Peep_Show is right. It looks pretty light for an Isa Brown. Isa Browns are Red Sex Links (red gene rooster x white/silver gene hen) and I have seen Red Sex Link hens that are pretty light, but they are usually market under some name that reflects the lighter color such as Gold Sex Link, Golden Buff, Golden Comet, Hubbard Golden Comet, Bovans Goldline, etc. If you can post a whole body shot of it, we should be able to tell you for sure whether or not it's a Red Sex Link (if it is, it's definitely a hen).

I agree it looks more like a Buff Orpington that a Red Sex Link. It's a bit darker than my Buff Orpingtons, but that could just be poor lighting in the picture (if it's in shadow). If it's a Red Sex Link hen, it will have white feathers in its tail. Again, a full body shot can help us determine this.
