Ducks are like humans, no two the same. They have their own personality and sometimes they like to be quiet, other times they are very talkative. Girls get on just fine, but they may get VERY loud during the breeding season trying to get the attention of a passing drake so if you find you have two ladies you might just want to get them a boyfriend to shut them up at that point (they will share him). Again, wait and see. They will mate if you do but it doesn't mean they will get broody, and if they do and you don't want them breeding then you simply put some dummy eggs in place of the eggs. BTW they get very sneaky when nesting, they go off and hide - you end up playing hunt the duck! Don't ever leave them on a nest outside, it's better to pick the nest up and hope they get the message inside the pen. My Pekin used to go and hide eggs, covering them up, before sitting.
Personally I've never had a probably with two drakes in the same garden, but they had paired up at that point and were inclined to keep themselves to themselves. They had the odd argument, again during the breeding season, but for the rest of the year they never bothered.
