For shipping adult birds there’s no way it’s $35 flat. It costs $15 just to send a plain old box somewhere, let alone the complications of live birds. I would probably stay away personally!
 
I never shipped live animals before I but I have a feeling that they'd make you fill out all sorts of other forms and crap and special this, special that, all adding up to bucks. For a live bird, that's at least 20 dollars for that box with the priority mail, just for a large pri flat rate box, and I doubt a roo would fit in one. This is why I am thinking it is some sort of local thing only. he's advertising in facebook, probably thinking he's just hitting a local *in town* community where someone can go drop em off with a pickup truck or something.,

If you were willing to meet him halfway, another option might be, they have these postal stores all over the place, heck, even the gas stations are now acting like dropoff points, go find one half way and have it delivered there, they call you on arrival and you go and get it.

I’m sorry I overlooked it. I had seen you mentioned Facebook . I have did some investigating and I could not find them listed as a hatchery or listed as a formal business. They could still be straight up.
What gives me an iffy feeling is the amount off different breeds and the backgrounds in the pics are so different, it almost feels like they are pics pulled from internet. But I could be wrong I’m just giving the feeling I get. I could be over suspicious but it feels like there is just something not right. They are not coming out on most as not offering to sell but “up for discussion “
On the app I usd I could not have it pull up the name. Also they have changed their fb title 2-3 times. If I was going yo do business with them I would do it careful every step of the way. And like somebody else suggested I would pay buy credit card so if you have sny
Problem you could get you money back. They may be legitimate but either stock of chickens n varieties I would think they would have a formal business name. I spent 2 hours trying yo find more out n reading their page. Please let us know how youdo. The chickens they are listing pics are beautiful 🤷🏼‍♀️. I hope they turn out to be good and you can get some of their beautiful chickens
