Is this a silkie egg?

I have 5 batams that are around 7 months old. We found an egg on the run floor on Sunday!!! Yeah!! So I made up their nesting boxes and put some wood eggs in there. Yesterday we found an egg in The hen house by the nesting box. This morning when we checked and the silky was in the nesting box making all sorts of squawking noises. But no egg. Then we just went and checked and the egg is by the watering can again. Also one of our other bantams are in the hen House making a nest right now where we found the egg yesterday. Maybe two of them are laying? The eggs look slightly different from each other. Would you have a look for me and let me know what you think? The other Bantam in question is a cochin mix. Would the same chicken have eggs that look different?

My white Silkie laid cream colored eggs so I vote for the one on top being the Silkie's. I've never had Cochins but do know they lay brown eggs.

I think you do! I really, really don't think those eggs are from the same pullet.

I agree that the light colored egg is a silkie egg and the darker egg is another chickens.

Yeah!!! Thank u. I’m going to go see if the cochin laid anything while she was in the nesting box. That would confirm!
