Is This A Silkie???

Hello, I hatched this little guy 2 weeks ago and I know they go through an "awkward" stage but, he has no "poof" and his feathers coming in are all over the place. I know the person I got the eggs from also has Frizzles.. So what do you think??

I don't think it is a silkie, here is a pic of my silkies when they were little. It may be a cochin?

Looks like a silkie or maybe silkie feathered cross to me. Pet quality silkies often don't have big crests & he's only little so give him a month or two.

I can't find a pic of my cochin babies right now but they look more like your chick.

Thanks... I never had to question any of my Silkie hatches before. He/she is so cute all the same. I will wait a few more weeks and I will post another pic.. Thanks for the replys!!

I have 4 Silkies that are 4 weeks old now. They are just starting to get
their crest feathers in.

I think he looks like a cochin. Heres a pic of mine when they were little.

Looks like a cross of cochin and silkie to me.

I can't tell from the feathers but I would vote either Cochin/Silkie cross or Cochin
