Um.....no. True silkies have silkie feathering. Silkie mixes can be and usually are smooth but very soft.

Thanks. I looked up true silkies in this forum and it explained it clearly, so I’m wrong! Those mixes look like some of mine. I hatched 7 eggs thinking they were pure Serama, according to a friend who gave me the eggs but after they hatched they all looked different!! Come to find out.. the daughter put all her pure bred bantams together. It was around 7 different breeds. Lol. Surprise!
