Is this a silkied Cochin?

First let me say...this is a PURE Cochin. Her parents were both bantam Cochins with absolutely NO Silkie blood in them. I read (on the internet) that silkied feathers are a recessive gene in black and barred birds. Just wondering if someone with more experience with this can educate me.

Looks like it to me also, very interesting. I can't find much info on the genetics of silkied breeds, though.

I'm not a silkie fan, or a cochin fan either even though I have one! But she's gorgous!
