Dry pox is a virus spread by mosquitoes.
Nothing to be done about it, it will clear up in a month or so.
Best to leave it alone as secondary bacterial infections can occur.

Same goes for peck wounds, they heal up pretty fast on their own...
...once the sometimes alarming amount of blood has cleared up.

Thanks so much for the info.. we had a lot of rain this past month and the mosquitos were bad. This does explain it. I have cleaned out everything now that rain has stopped. I guess I am lucky so far it has not changed their behavior or food consumption.

There is a pecking order. I have also seen some chickens reaching through the fence, even though I let them out.

Dirt, scabs and typical Leghorn comb. If she's eating/drinking well, active and laying eggs, she should be fine
