Thanks so much for the info.. we had a lot of rain this past month and the mosquitos were bad. This does explain it. I have cleaned out everything now that rain has stopped. I guess I am lucky so far it has not changed their behavior or food consumption.Dry pox is a virus spread by mosquitoes.

Thanks for the link to the article. It has a lot of info.There is a pecking order. I have also seen some chickens reaching through the fence, even though I let them out.
Dirt, scabs and typical Leghorn comb. If she's eating/drinking well, active and laying eggs, she should be fine
