Is this a turkey? Your random bird is in my yard

This is the second day we found this bird in our yard. Somebody said it was a turkey but I have no clue. Can you identify it for me?

I’ve seen it fly from one yard to another. I don’t know if we’ll be able to catch this

Wild turkeys can fly well to, though. The wild ones around me roost 60+ feet up in big pines.
You probably knew, but so many people think they're flightless.

Well I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 12 years and this is the first time I’ve ever seen this. I knew it was a bird. Lol.
