Is this one on the left a young roo? They were born in Feb.

Yep, yep, yep.

Look at his legs compared to the pullet's.
Towards his tail you can see the beginning of saddle feathers that will continue to get longer....they are skinny feathers.
There is also a difference if you look at the set of their tails.
And he has a bigger comb.
As he gets older you will be able to see the pointy feathers around his neck and on his shoulders.

All things that I did not know to look for until last summer as all my roos grew up!
