I have three pullets that survived out of a TSC batch of six. They were supposed to be Amberlinks but they are solid white. I have raised about 100 from day old of different breeds and selling them all now. I hate to say they are a breed that they are not! I looked up pics online and all I see is white with colored feathers mixed in. Anyone an expert on this breed or do I have something completely different? Thanks!

I don’t care at all what breed but since she isn’t laying yet I don’t know what color eggs she will lay. If she is a leghorn, I think they lay white. If she is an amber link she would lay Brown. I read about earlobe color telling the color of eggs....not sure what to think? Also, all three of these girls are very friendly.

Hello,
I have just 4 chickens but my friendliest is my amberlink. She is almost pure white too, but in the sunshine you can see slight beige tinge to her neck feathers. Amber links are a cross and when I bought her from the breeder she said that particular batch were almost pure white and that they could be quite variable. So I would say yes you have an amberlink and expect brown eggs
