Hi all, I received a couple chickens tonight from someone who needed to rehome them. I know the one on the left is a SLW, they believe the one on the right is an Australorp. She does have the black/green sheen feathers on her back. However, the coloring on her chest looks more like an Easter Egger, very brown and almost barred. She was purchased from Tractor Supply five months ago. Could she be a mix, or is brown coloring common in Australorps? Thanks!

They look small to be 5 months for sure, I’d say they are more like 5 weeks as my SLW looks just like that just a bit bigger at 6 weeks. That looks like an Australorp chick to me.

I think they’re around 18-20 weeks. They’re smaller than my other girls but nearly full grown.

A friend just told me she thought the black one is a sex link too... I think that’s correct! Thank you!
