I have attached some baby pictures and then a current picture along with her eggs. She is laying a tan-ish egg. I purchased these two from atwoods and was told that they were olive eggers. The bin was not labeled and now that I think about it the guy didn’t seem too sure. And now that she has started laying the eggs are not olive :eek: to my surprise..... so I started doing research.... my conclusion is they are australorp. Just wanted to confirm my hypothesis haha or not either way, it really doesn’t matter, these two birds are quite charming and regardless they have a spot with my flock! 🥰
Thanks ahead of time for your knowledge and input

Reminds me of my Asian Black. But honestly I don’t know how to tell the difference between all the black colored chickens 🤷🏽‍♀️
Oh wow I had come across that breed during my google research lol. Okay 👍 I am very new and curious about raising birds.

They look like australorps. Check the bottoms of their feet. Should be white. 😊

Okay luckily she was in the nesting box!!! Easy pic, the roo on the other hand lol he wouldn’t let me see but I’m sure his feet are the same.

I would say Australorp. Certainly looks like mine and egg color is right. Can't see her feet, and it's hard to get a good size reference, but that's my guess.
Yeah, she just started laying so her eggs are rather small right now. In the picture of the eggs the white egg is an austra white leghorn egg. Or so my research has led me to believe lol. But maybe that can give you some comparison 🤷🏼‍♀️
