Is this an EE, Brown Leghorn, Welsummer or other!?!

Following along. We have one same exact situation. Easter Egger bin, same feathering. I did read in another post that the red shoulders doesnt necessarily mean roo. Also hoping for a pullet since we cant keep roos. 🤞🏼

It could be an Olive Egger which is an EE crossed with a dark laying breed. When hatcheries start mixing their own, I’ve seen on this forum, that the resulting birds are very hard to sex and it’s hard to even tell what the bird is if the customer didn’t buy it as an ‘Olive Egger’. I’d bet that’s what you both have.

The single comb throws me off for an EE... most of the hatchery EEs I've seen are pea comb.

Maybe an Olive Egger- from the Hoover site they say some of their Olive eggers are Welsummer and Legbar crosses- both of which would give single-comb chicks.

Nothing screams cockerel-yet! This is a 'hold' baby- time will tell.
