She doesn't have the bearded face like my other ones. She is 17 weeks old. Also when should she start laying?

Hmm. I thought I'd be able to answer your question, but she doesn't look like my EEs either!! She could start laying pretty soon, some start laying as early as 16 weeks, but I think the norm is closer to 20 weeks.

I have a chickie that looks like that. Mine is a red laced blue wyandotte, but yours looks more black than blue.
Could it be a wyandotte, maybe?

I'm also thinking maybe a gold-laced Wyandotte? or mix?

Depending on what she is she may start laying by 20 weeks old and maybe not till a few weeks later than that.

The Sex Link Hybrid is the result of crossing two purebred standard breeds. The Rhode Island Red rooster and the Barred Rock hen. The baby Chicks are color sexed- males barred (black with light color on head) , pullets are black. This hybrid makes for very vigorous chicks, rugged brown egg laying hens and good cockerel fryers.
