Whenever I pick up my chicken Ebony, she sneezes! She likes to be held, and I never see her sneeze when she's not being held. I'm not concened that she's sick or anything.
My mom says "It's because she's excited".

What do you think?

I have a 3 year old BA that does a little sneeze then a head shake that slaps her wattles around when ever I come into the coop. Never see or hear her do it in the run or the yard. She is also the one hen that does everything she can to not be picked up. I have been thinking the sneeze and shake maybe a sign of momentary stress more than a sign illness. She is one of my best layers, still about 5 eggs a week.
