I noticed today that the tips of the comb on one of my hens, Sausage have turned white. I have no idea why. She is about 5-6 months and is laying, other than the tips she is very healthy and active, here is a pic...

hi, thinking it could be a fungus of some kind. theres one called Favus, [ringworm] but don't know if that is it. thought i had a link for it but I don't so will go look. In the mean time those are beautiful hens! I see your from Austria, I was seeing Australia, so it might be frost bite. sorry.

not frostbite, it's too warm for them now. It's come on recently. I noticed it today, the other hens and my cockerel show no sighs of it. I thought that frostbite turns the comb black?

then if not frost bite research fungus, when my roos had frost bite it showed upi white then turned blk then fell off.
