Is this Autumn behavior?

Since Autumn has arrived my chickens spend most of the day in the coop. The weather has been exceptionally warm , like a lot of days its 75 to 80 but they still go back into the coop after coming out and eating for a few minutes. This is my first year with my chickens, is this normal autumn behavior? They never did this in the summer. Thank you
