Is this bad?? THE POWER IS BACK ON !!! =0)

I have decided the hatchings gods are against me...lol.

Last winter while my bator was FULL the power went out for several days.. Thank GOD for woodstoves!!

I am at work... my son called a little while ago to say I have good news and I have bad news. I'm like ok, what's wrong. "The power is out".

I'm like what's the good news.... The mail lady came and dropped off two boxes of hatching eggs.

He says she no more than pulled out of the driveway before the power went out!!

We have high winds here today. I left a message with the electric company. Hopefully we will have the power on again soon.

On the bright side I had 3 boxes (1-more in the postal system..lol) of eggs coming and they still need to rest before they go into the bator. On the bright side again they were not already in the bator!!

So I am hoping somebody is just toying with me and the power is back when I get home running smooth!!!!

shipped eggs should sit for up to 24 hours before putting in the bator any how so it may not be bad news after all.

Yep, in fact if you look at the post I mentioned that was the bright side... they have to sit any how before going into the incubator.

The power is back on, thankfully !!!

I plan to slip my eggs in the bator this evening.

I hope it is an uneventful incubation period with a lot of excitement at the end...lol
