Is this barred rock a roo or hen??

I'm really not seeing a Cockerel, especially for the age. Not positive on Pullet, but I'd sure expect more sex traits from a male this old. I don't think the bird is pure bred and that could account for the color variation. Maybe post again in a few weeks and let us know? Of course, crowing at any time means male.....

Only cockerels develop that fine feathering around the neck. Also, the tail feather is lifted. I believe it is a cockerel.
