Is this beak normal?

I've never trimmed my chickens' nails. If it seems like it bothers them, go for it!
Is your flock of chickens considered your pets?
I'm not sure if there is a sign that they need a trimming.

It's normal that she hasn't layed an egg at all. Sometimes they're stressed for a few days before they start laying again. She just switched homes. Give her time.
Yes well I just have one with a dislocated thigh and I want her to be as comfortable as possible.

And I understand. I am not angry or disappointed that she isn't laying eggs I was just wondering if that was a bad sign.

Doesn't look that bad to me. She's looks to be in pretty decent condition from what I can see, so that tells us she's managing with the beak just fine.

Personally, I would leave the beak alone. Sometimes things do not need to be fixed or messed with. Until there's an issue where she's losing weight or having trouble eating, I wouldn't do anything.
