Hi, I’ve treated bumblefoot into the past but this looks a bit different. I have a year-old Faverolles rooster with a weird black spot on his toe, right under his nail. It’s hard to the touch - the whole pad of his toe feels hard - but not hot. He’s not limping or anything, acting totally normal. Can anyone help?

Looks like he may have suffered any injury and it's healing over.

If he's not limping, it's not bothering him and he's acting normal, then I would not mess with it. Just monitor the foot and watch his activity.
