Rather than cut perhaps un-needlessly into poor Ivory's feet, DBF has agreed to let me call the vet tomorrow (thank you Nettie!!!) Going to try to schedule an appt for Saturday. Our vet is wonderful and this particular dr specializes in birds. I always take my ducks and chickens to him so hopefully he can help Ivory.

Couldn't get in to see the vet until Monday at 3. I took 1/2 vacation day so I could go with DBF. Will let you know what he says then!

definitely let us know how it goes! Also, it doesn't hurt to ask the vet, go ahead and ask about a DMSO solution with and antibiotic and a pain med in it. It really helped both of my ducks different foot problems. And whatever's left over, I keep just in case.

If she needs to be kept inside for her injury, let me know, and we'll send Ivory a pack of disposables for her to test out for us! I have a pink and white striped fabric that would look good on her. lol.
