Is this bumblefoot?

Hi everyone. My favarolle hen has this little bump at the base of her toe. She is walking aorund just fine and seems her happy talkative self. I didn't notice it till i picked her up off the egg she was trying to sit on. I cleaned it up and looked but there is no black scab like bumble foot. but you can see a little hole in the bottom where i splinter might have been or still be. How should i treat this?

looks like a cyst rather than bumble foot

try bumble foot anti septic spray or cream all the same

isn't bumble foot usually on the bottom? looks like a cyst to me too... maybe epsom salt soak to draw out fluid and dry it out?

It dose look like a cyst...




This was the bumblefoot on my duck... We cut it open and did the surgery ourselves. There was small rock?? and pine tree needles in there OUCH!

As long as she's not limping, no redness, no swelling...do nothing.

Dawg53 is right. If its not open and she doesn't seem to be in pain, leave bit. I had a dog with a cyst and it eventually burst on its own.
