Is this chick dead?

No,but i feel like the chick is slowly breaking down.There are fewer veins now and i see small chunks floating around.But im not losing hope yet as the air sack is still intact.

small chunks floating around isn’t a good sign but it doesn’t hurt to wait. What day are you on now?

Sad news,the egg started leaking.The chick died.

Oh so it was dead. Do you know how far along it was? Probably died around the same time as the last one you cracked open.

Usually no veins and stuff floating around is a definite sign that it may not be alive. Glad you kept an eye on it

I kept this egg 2 weeks late compared to all the other eggs.The first one died while travelling and due to power cuts.I think the egg has been dead for almost a week.
