I got 4 ayam chicks last week and they are pretty young. On top of that I hatched out 7 bantam cochins that are maybe a week younger. I have one little ayam that is weak, unsteady on its feet, cries all the time and is so tiny and skinny. Its smaller then my cochin. I feed them as much as they want and give treats. I fed them eggs this morning hoping to boost its energy. All the others are puffy and wild and this one just falls over and doesn't hold its wings up right. Its only be the last few days its gotten worse. First three pics are the little one and the last two are one of its siblings.

Hi. I am so sorry that you have a wee little one struggling. I don’t know what your daily schedule is like but can you keep the chick with you and close to you during the day? Like very close? Like possibly inside your bra? He is not maintaining his heat and strength possibly and might be using all of his calories just to keep warm and balanced even if he is completely healthy without any medical diseases or other major problems plaguing him right off. If you could give him some Karo syrup on a dropper today to get his Blood sugar up and keep his temp up and then fix a mash of peanut butter and either eggs and or chick starter and keep it runny but thick enough to get it in his beak and so that he can manage it in his mouth to swallow it after this will give him extra good protein and sugars he needs as well as the fluids. Do this as often as he will take it until the wee Lea wobbles stop and he stops falling down and he can maintain his own body temp better and fluffs up like his fellow hatchlings. If he won’t thrive after this much dedication then you can look at more serious problems. He will quiet down being next to your heart and being warm. If you feel him squirming too much in there it’s a good sign and he is probably warming up and getting too hot. Just be to put some Saran Wrap in your bra to line it in order to keep the poop off of it and you hopefully. But he won’t go too much right now until too much gets into his system. The joys of chicken keeping!😊 Dedication!

I can do that at some points of the day. Im thinking about just fully isolating it. Its even weaker today..

Give it some electrolytes in her water, preferably Save-A-Chick, and see if she will eat some molasses off your finger, that will giver her a boost. Try wetting some of her food to a mush with sugar water to get its blood sugar up. @MGG Make sure its not getting to hot under the heat lamp. MGG can help more, I have never hatched, just know what I know form here. :fl:fl I really hope she recovers!

She died this morning. Just slowly wasted away. I tried giving her food through a syringe but it just didn't work. I even checked on her all night. On the bright side one of my chicks hatched. The first one from my own chickens but it's belly looks bad..

Oh. I am so sorry to hear this. Sometimes nature might have known best though. We don’t know what may have been wrong with the sweet little thing. Just know you did the best you could with that one and it’s best she didn’t suffer for a long time and struggle among the flock. If she had a bad illness it could have brought your other wee ones down as well so it’s could you separated her and can now concentrate on your younger ones that are up and coming. They will definitely require your attention and energy I am sure. I wish you much luck with them. Again. I am sorry about her passing and the difficult time you had with her.

Oh my I'm so sorry. She just failed to thrive. I had one like that too. She lived for just a few weeks too. There's just no way to save them. It's sad.
How old is this other one? It looks like an unhealed navel from when it hatched. It'll be fine, just keep it clean. Have you noticed any pasty butt on her?

In the picture a few hours lol. No pasty butt! Should I clean it with anything? There hadn't been any blood
