I really don't agree with the not helping, I believe all animals need help sometimes whether hatching or a puppy/kitten being born. I have helped many time and they are very healthy chickens now. People say that about chickens, but when it comes to helping a puppy/kitten people do not give it a thought. I look at it as if I help maybe they will make it or I can sit there and let it die and I am not willing to sit they and watch it die. Good luck with the little chick
