Is this chick in the correct hatching position? It pip yesterday after noon but hasn't made any progress since yesterday. I had to help it this morning open it up a little bit as it had the membrane dried up a little bit over the beak. It is alive The temp in set at 99.5 degrees and it is and has a humidity of 50-60.

The chick still hasn't made any progress. The chick seems to be a bit more active. I pulled some more membrane away back and there was blood veins so I left it.

It must've had its air cell on the side. You'll probably have to help it out. Here's an excellent article on how to do it.

I've helped in the past and for ones like that, I've left them in the incubator another 24 hours. They seem to be a little weak when they hatch and their legs not working right, but staying longer in the incubator helped immensely.

If there no more eggs in the incubator, I turn it down to 95F while they recuperate.
