Is this chick really a partridge wyandotte?

I bought some replacement chicks from a local farm store 2 weeks ago. They are supposed to be about 6 weeks old now. The clerk climbed up on a ladder to get them out of the brooder & put them in a box & taped the lid down...needless to say, I didn't get a good look at them until I got them home. The picture is of what is supposed to be a partridge wyandotte pullet. I noticed what appears to be a single comb on one of the chicks as soon as I took it out of the box. It doesn't show well, but the comb is about 1/8" tall & has well defined points. Later, on closer inspection, I'm thinking that there may be wattles & spur buds so there's chance that it may be a cockerel.

Wyandottes are supposed to have rose combs. Would a young cockerel's rose comb look like a single when he starts to develop? Is this really a wyandotte?

It's not a rose comb but there's a chance it could still be a wyandotte. Just poorly bred. Need better pictures to be able to identify breed for sure though.

I talked to the manager of the feed store & all the chicks come from reputable hatcheries so I doubt that this is a crossbred. (I'll be really ****** if he/she is!) RavynFallen your suggestion that it might be a Welsummer is interesting. I've included a couple of other pictures.

What does everyone think?

Looks partridge in those pics, first one the body feathers looked black... definitely a cockerel and most likely a Wyandotte actually... single combs have been known to pop up in Wyandottes...

The manager tells me that they got some Partridge Rocks in about the same time as the Wyandottes. She thinks that it may be one of those. If you discount the comb the coloring is pretty much identical to the others I picked up at the same time.
