Is this chicken expressing mottled feathering?

Wait, you've confused me. I thought you said that your white-with-leakage birds were out of a White Leghorn /Ameraucana cross rooster.
I do have those as well. But I also have white chicks with occasional black feathers that hatched from Red Star eggs covered by the rooster pictured. About 50% or so of my chicks hatched from the Red Star eggs hatched out white with rare black spots/feathers, I believe this is just a fluke, my last hatch I hatched about 12, only 1 came out white. The rest of the chicks from the same eggs were black/red mixed, and the only chick with this odd feather pattern was this young cockerel here which is why it stands out to me. Another odd thing about him, his feather quality seems lower than the other chicks.

I was also talking about the original stock that my 'grandma' chicken came from, who's parents were mixed White Leghorn/Ameraucana cock over either Austra-white or possibly speckled sussex hen. I selected those that hatched out black (receiving no dominant white genes) from that cross to save for future breeding.
