Thank youI would say female Orpington, they take very long to mature, usually they start laying at 9 months ..but it also depends on which season, some start at 1 year![]()

I thought that I put a light in there which comes on five in the morning and goes off at 7 at night. They can go outside as well.Where are you located? You might want to add your general location to your profile to help us help you.
The reason that I ask is that those of us in the northern hemisphere and particularly farther north are dealing with shortening daylight hours. Chickens commonly (but not always) stop laying for the winter. Most of mine have stopped laying for the year. Yours may not start until early spring.
