Is this chicken safe?

I had a couple birds who have lice. Is this safe to use on chickens?

I wouldn't trust anything that's not meant for poultry... I would definitely recommend going to your local country store if you can and buy lice spray made for poultry, just to ensure that it will be safe for your flock. Also make sure that you spray EVERY bird, even if they don't appear to have lice. And make sure you spray the corners of your coop and your nesting boxes after cleaning it out entirely and replacing it with fresh bedding.

I use Viper dust or Sevin dust on my birds. I get Sevin from Tractor Supply.

You can also buy bulk carbaryl powder at garden supply stores (the active ingredient in the dusts)... but I've read that some external parasites can have immunity against it.
