Is this cocciodiosis?

Does it look worse before it gets better? I went out this morning and there was way more bloody poo then yesterday and another pullet looks affected like tired and not herself. When do you see a good change? Thanks!!
Corid doesn't always work, so you might need to get a sulfa antibiotic or some Baycox. Can you take a sick one to the vet?

I saw a change in my birds after the second day. Can you syringe feed the Corid directly to the birds, as well as leaving the Corid water for them to drink? They may not be drinking enough of it, or may be too sick and need a few direct doses.

Thank you!!

You could also try given a few doses orally.

  • Powder - mix 1/2 teaspoon powder with 2 teaspoons water and give 0.34 ml per pound orally.
  • Undiluted Liquid - Give 0.1 ml per pound orally
Give once a day for 1-3 days in addition to the medicated water.

Thank you so very much!! I very much appreciate your help.

Good luck!

I was going to come on and say I believe all 12 ladies are doing better. It looked like only 3 had the hardest time with it, and they came through. It's been 2 1/2 days since the end of the 5 days of Corid treatment.
This afternoon I went out to check on them and noticed this poo. It's the same poo, just a different angle. Is this worms? At first when I took the picture I was concerned about the red in the poop. Then I noticed the white spot. When I went back into the coop to inspect the poo they already walked on it. Now I'm waiting for them to poo again so I can inspect. Sigh.

Great pictures! Looks like a tapeworm segment. Also looks like intestinal lining.
