Thank you! Will she stay barred like that as she grows? Sorry this is my very first batch of chicks so I’m sort of clueless haha.Yes, I would say so-
I have barred rocks, and laced wyandottes.
Crested cream legbar crossed to something else.Any idea what her mix may be?
Thanks so much!!!! I appreciate itCrested cream legbar crossed to something else.
The barring will stay.

One more question! My rainbow layer seems to be “crested” as well. She has a little tuft of hair on her head too! Would she be a mix of crested cream legbar as well?Crested cream legbar crossed to something else.

I think I answered my own questions haha. Given the crest and the little bit of copper in her neck feathers I think she may be a crested legbar and BCM mix! What do you guys think? One more question! She’s gorgeous! How old is she?I think you're right, cream legbar and BCM is a super common mix of breeds to get olive eggers. Barring can sometimes be more prominent on juvenile feathers, but your olive egger has pretty distinct barring that should stay.View attachment 3865235
My olive Eggers barring is becoming more distinct as she gets older, but it's most noticeable on her neck and a little harder to make out on her body.
Thanks! She's 7 weeks old today (that picture is from this weekend). She’s gorgeous! How old is she?
