Is this delaware a roaster or hen

It looks male to me.

Doesn't even look like a Delaware to me. By now mine had some black in the neck and tails.

It has the double wide looking breast of a Cornish Cross.

I think it has the right color pattern for a Delaware (Silver Columbian with white barring that breaks up the black into little flecks), but I do not know whether the body shape is right or wrong. It could be a Delaware-colored meat bird, or an actual Delaware, and I personally would not be able to tell the difference at this age.

I've got pullets that do this too. Rhode Island Girls do it I think just to made me get the feed to them faster. My Delaware boys are some of the friendliest boys I have ever raised. One like to fly up and land on top of my head. I deed a picture of that my son has.
