Hi everyone, I'm new to chicken keeping, I've only had this flock 4 days. I received a flock of chickens from an older couple that couldn't keep up with their care. When I picked up the chickens I was told they were molting. I live in a cold area that's starting to get warm so I didn't question it. I believe some in the flock have lice/mites and scaly leg mites. I ordered elector PSP to treat them.
I was messaging a friend pictures to confirm that's what I'm dealing with and noticed a hen with white spots on her wattle and her face is swollen. I have her separate from the rest of the flock. I checked her mouth and don't see canker. Could you help me figure out what it is so I can treat her? This is one of the hens i believe has lice/mites.
